Shalom is a local partner with Christian Village (a non-denominational housing facility) in Mechanicsville serving the residents.  Periodically, the church will spend a Saturday morning working on projects for some of the residents including yard work, housework, etc..  We collect laundry detergent throughout the year, provide a weekly Bible study, and transportation to its residents to Shalom and the MCEF Food Pantry.

We provide a monthly breakfast at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Hanover) on Saturdays, serve in their clothing closet, assist on Saturday afternoons with clothing distribution, food, and Christian hospitality to homeless persons in the Richmond area.

MCEF (Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Functions

In cooperation with other local churches, we support MCEF by supplying money, food, clothing, etc. to families/individuals in need.

Shalom has supported and partnered with Bland Ministry Center for many years. Shalom makes regular trips to Bland County to support this ministry (collecting and distributing supplies, sending mission teams, etc.).

We have partnered with The Channel of Blessing, created and operated by Grace & Praveen Bunyan in Central India where we provide prayers, supplies ,monetary donations & sent mission teams.
